Cyberpank is already here: a new generative identity for the G8 creative industries festival
G8 is an annual festival of creative industries that takes place in Moscow and brings together Russian and world leaders from different creative industries: music, cinema, media, design, fashion, etc. This year it will take place on September 9-10. The 2021 identity created by the designer Roma Erokhnovich (WHKST) is based on the theme of this year's festival - "RELEASES". Designers have created an artwork in the Matik application that allows you to automate the assembly of layouts. Using such an application, you can quickly and easily create dynamic design layouts for smm and other purposes.
The new logo is generative, in the spirit of post-apocalypse, its free form is a metaphor for a diverse and dynamic creative community.
The central visual tool of the project is generative pattern, which is formed on the basis of introductory images and videos. In fact, it is a decomposer that shows how objects and campaigns are formed and built. This is the key metaphor of the project - the metaphor of the release, of how any creative project is conceived, built and planned.
“The identity of this year's festival is about what a modern creative community should be - crazy, ironic, technological and aesthetic. It is about creativity “that solves problems,” says Roma Erokhnovich.
