Task
The aim is to draw people's attention to the problem of animals from shelters and to dwell on the irresponsibility of some pet owners . The main task of the project is to get rid of the usual instagram SOS posts and banners (posts that cause pity and hostility) and developing a game pattern that helps to attract people to charity. The second task is to find partners who are ready to participate in this project and highlight it
Ideas and solutions
To implement the format, we used the common knowledge tools and techniques such as: QR code, Instagram stories, storytelling. As you scan the code, the page switches to the Instagram stories dedicated to a particular animal which lives in the shelter from your city. Here the game starts: you switch the Instagram stories, playing with the animal. Then the animal says that it's time to spill the beans and tells its secret. It tells you its story and says that it's a real animal. After that, you can swipe to the shelter website in order to help this animal. We spread QR codes by placing posters, table-tents and stickers in various locations of the city. These are places where the main Target Audience of the project is concentrated: bars, restaurants and parks are in this list. We have already implemented the project in Moscow and St. Petersburg and we are going to start it in Volgograd, Yekaterinburg and Samara. Moreover, during the coronavirus restrictions, the introduction and cancellation of QR codes in Moscow and St. Petersburg, we decided to seize the moment. We created a short animation that said: "You don't need a QR code to enter the cafe. You need a QR cat. You will find it here".
