Special Projects

Task

To help internet users maintain their mental health during a lockdown.

Ideas and solutions

The only entertainment space during the pandemic was the Internet. People spent hours there, consuming gigabytes of content and tons of negative news. That is why RBC, as a center of attraction of news content, has created an anti-stress project to relieve anxiety and help the audience relax at the most stressful time in terms of negative information. As part of the project, we've told users how to maintain mental health during a lockdown and turned the project page into an oasis of serenity in a sea of unpleasant information. With different formats on the landing page — articles, podcasts, and even meditations — we aided users in developing high tolerance for stress and taking care of their mental state during a lockdown. The project was supplemented by live broadcasts on RBC Style's Instagram, during which a guest psychologist Alexey Krasikov explained how to resolve inner conflicts and deal with panic attacks. On average, users spent 3 minutes and 30 seconds on the project.
