Task

Create a service for the Ministry of Education to control expenditures on the National Project — a large-scale program for the development of schools throughout the country. We needed to pack a huge amount of financial and administrative data for the period from 2019 to 2024 into a convenient and practical service, where all the necessary information is clearly displayed and quickly unloaded.

Ideas and solutions

The national project is a general program for the development of school education, which is compiled in the centre and transferred to the places for implementation. Each of the accountable objects on its scale must implement the set KPI for different categories of the development program. To implement these programs, it is necessary to carry out certain activities, and then report on the expenditure of funds. Each of the objects transmits information to a higher-level one, who makes a general report and transmits it even higher, and so on to the very centre of the system. Having studied all the subtleties of this system, we began to work on competent data visualization. At the centre of our concept was a share chart, where it is easy to track the expenditure of funds both by individual categories throughout the country and by regions and even schools. To do this, we have developed a map of federal districts, territories, regions at different scales necessary for data analysis. Changes in data can also be tracked on the time feed — information about expenses for previous years and planned indicators for future ones are reflected in the form of a convenient scale. In addition, different schedules, road maps, the percentage of completed activities and funds spent are available on the service. There is even a function of uploading photos to confirm the completed work. The next stage was the development of forms for reporting. Previously, all information was transmitted in any form in the form of Google Sheets. We have developed universal filling forms for reporting on events, which can be downloaded and printed as a ready-made document. In addition, the service had to be adaptive, which was another challenge, because it is difficult to complete such a number of complex schemes for three screens. As a result, we created a grid with a static width of the sidebars and stretching margins from the content and inside the grid. Login: demo password: demo
