Task
The main purpose is educational. The special project is dedicated to a breakthrough in Russian astronautics, fast flight schemes to the ISS. We aimed to emphasize the relevance of these complex technologies and explain it to mass audience.
Ideas and solutions
The key feature of this special project is interactive infographics, showing the dropping schemes: two-day, four-turn, two-turn and one-turn. We show the difference between the schemes and demonstrate the advantages of the fast ones. The user can “go through” all the stages of the spacecraft flight to the ISS: from launch to docking. In the second chapter readers can find the timeline of all the dockings with ISS. This infographic shows that gradually Russian spacecraft have reduced their flight time to the station in comparison with the foreign colleagues. The long read also features the quotes from Russian cosmonauts.
